Position:                                               Accounting Book Keeper

Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Inc. is looking to fill the role of a Full Cycle Book Keeper at Fernie Alpine Resort.  Reporting to the Director of Resort Administration, this position requires the ideal candidate will have previous office experience, will be a clear communicator, and have a good knowledge of Excel and Word.  Previous accounting or financial experience is an asset.


  • Full Cycle Book Keeping
  • Assist with work in AR/AP/GL
  • Use TD Banking Software to complete bank reconciliations
  • Using QuickBooks
  • Property tax payments and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly financial reports
  • Complete NRT/PST/GST returns
  • Know and adhere to the policies, rules and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
  • Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
  • Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
  • To perform other tasks and duties that are applicable

This is a part-time position of 15-25 hours/month, hours can vary weekly depending on demand. Full training provided with the opportunity to work from home. Part-time benefits included.
