The Elk Valley Dolphins Swim Club (EVDSC) is excited to offer a unique opportunity for an energetic individual with a passion for swimming and youth development. We are looking for an Assistant Swim Coach to join our dynamic team, working with young athletes aged 8-14. This part-time role is perfect for someone enthusiastic about swimming and eager to engage with various skill groups in a supportive and educational environment.

Location: Fernie, BC
Schedule: 8-10 hours per week, two afternoons (starting at 5 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coaching and training swim groups, focusing on skill development and technique improvement.
• Work collaboratively with head coaches to implement training programs.
• Engage positively with young swimmers, providing motivation and constructive feedback.
• Ensure a safe and fun environment for all participants.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in swimming, either competitive or as a coach (preferred, but not required).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire young athletes.
• Energetic, patient, and committed to youth development.
