Rocky Mountain Optometry is a growing practice that is looking for that additional person to join our expanding team. Our exceptional and friendly team is our greatest asset and we are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, open-minded candidate to join us.

 

Do you have a helpful heart and a flare for fashion? Are you interested in working in healthcare, retail or a medical office? Rocky Mountain Optometry may be the right career path for you! No previous experience is required, all training and education to become a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant is provided. In your role you will help our team look after our patients from booking and patient check-in to pre-screening, contact lenses as well as in glasses frame and lens selection. Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is an asset.

 

We are located in a picturesque valley with an abundance of outdoor living activities for anyone living in or aspiring to live in. We are an ever-changing, evolving and expanding team that is committed to the eye care needs of the communities in the valley we serve. We are looking to fill a full-time position Monday-Friday in our Fernie location with the opportunity to work in our sister offices in Blairmore and Elkford. Starting remuneration is based on experience ($19-21/hr) and extended health benefits, RSP contributions and additional optical benefits are available.
