We’re now seeking friendly, dependable and safe drivers to join our team this winter.

Qualifications/skills required:

BC Class 2 driver’s license (Note; training and use of bus for exams can be provided)

Air breaks endorsement

Clean drivers abstract

Experience driving a in winter conditions

Trustworthy, responsible, friendly, good with people

Roles and Responsibilities:

Driving a 54 passenger from the Red Tree Lodge in Fernie to the Fernie ski hill;

Driving a 24 passenger bus and trailer on out of town trips such as Calgary Airport to Fernie.

Greeting passengers as they board the bus;

Cleaning the interior and exterior of the bus;

Fueling the bus as needed;

Performing pre and post trip safety inspections;

Completing reports and driver logs;

Basic bus maintenance.

Schedule

Start date: December 11, 2023

Finish Date:  April 13^th. 2024

Workdays: 2-5 days per week, as mutually agreed. Shift includes weekends.

Work hours:  Approximately 10-25 hours per week.  Split shift; 8-10:30 am and 2:30-5:00 pm for town to ski hill driving days. Additional hours will be required on some days. Variable continuous hours on away trips.
