Full Time Seasonal (32-40 hours per week)
May 01 – September 30.
$25-27/hour based on experience and ability
About Ski Base Fernie:

Responsibilities:
Service Techs are responsible for a range of bicycle repairs including tune-ups, brake bleeds, suspension service, e-bike diagnostics, wheel building, bicycle assembly and safety checks on new bicycles. This is a seasonal position for the 2026 summer with an opportunity to become permanent if a candidate proves to be a great fit with our team.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a bicycle mechanic
- Solid knowledge of current cycling technology and industry trends
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience utilizing POS systems (experience with Lightspeed software is an asset)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently, yet also collaboratively with the service team
