We are currently seeking experienced journeywoman/man carpenters to join our team for unique projects including restorations, renovations and custom home builds.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
- Measure, cut and assemble materials – for framing and fine finish work.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, fit windows, doors, stairs, moulding and hardware.
- Ensure work is completed according to code and safety standards
Skills Requirements:
- Carpentry Apprentice or a minimum of 3- 5 years experience and knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials and tools
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A keen attention to detail
- Excellent oral communication skills, team player and reliability
- Able to physically handle heavy loads, hard work and unique work sites
