We’re looking for a charismatic, reliable, and energetic cocktail bartender to join our passionate team at the Fernie Distillers this Spring. Whether you’re mixing up a classic gin martini or shaking up one of our signature cocktails, you’ll be the personality that keeps our guests coming back for more.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve up drinks with speed, flair, and a smile
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area; restocking as needed and setting it up well for the next shift.
• Recommend drinks to customers and give them detailed insight into our spirits and cocktails.
• Handle busier nights like a pro and keep the good vibes going; making the customer feel like your number one priority.
• Make syrups, infusions and garnishes as required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous bartending and/or serving experience; comfortable making multiple styles of cocktails, with a strong knowledge of drink recipes & bar tools.
• Excellent communication and hospitality skills with the ability to make a customer feel comfortable in our space; sharing local knowledge and taking a genuine interest.
• Positive attitude with a team player mentality; you are able to build up and support your team members.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays; with a working visa / residency that is valid through the upcoming summer and winter season.
• Valid Serving it Right Certification.
