What you’ll be doing:
As our Distribution Centre Associate, you’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks within the Distribution Centre and Brewery. You will be taking orders and preparing shipments; answering incoming calls and emails; and assisting our Production, Warehouse and Delivery teams.
The Distribution Centre Associate must be self-motivated and highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Order Desk:
- Receiving and processing orders (via telephone, email, and Sales Team)
- Ensuring orders are processed accurately and on-time
- Updating & maintaining accurate customer records
- Customer Service:
- Phone reception – answering & fielding calls
- Responding to customer inquiries via email & phone
- Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, suppliers & teams
- Logistics:
- Booking and tracking orders
- Troubleshooting shipment and order issues
- Warehouse and Delivery
- Picking orders and assisting in our Warehouse
- Receiving shipments when needed
- Assisting our Production team as needed
- Delivering packaged product and kegs to our local accounts as required
- Providing administrative support to our Management, Tasting Room and Sales Teams
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new software
- Class 5 Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette
- Strong customer service skills
- Physically able to maneuver full kegs and packaged beer
- Experience driving larger trucks an asset
- An enthusiastic attitude – willing to learn new skills and work as part of a team
- Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent organizational skills & detail oriented
This is a full-time, permanent role and is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday during business hours. We offer a competitive compensation package, including dental, medical and lifestyle benefits, as well as great perks such as a merchandise allowance.
