What you’ll be doing:
As our Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for both our East Kootenay and local, in-town deliveries. You will also provide coverage for Warehouse Associate and Driver (shuttle driver) and assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed. This is a fast-paced and varied role that requires a hands-on and proactive individual who has exceptional customer service skills.
The East Kootenay delivery runs require an overnight stay in the Columbia Valley on a weekly basis.
Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assembling orders and delivering to our accounts in Fernie and in the East Kootenays
- Maintaining and adjusting delivery records
- Communicating with our Order Desk to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Safely operating company equipment and vehicles
- Driving product between our Distribution Centre and Brewery facilities (shuttle driving) on an as needed basis
- Cleaning, organizing, and general warehouse duties in our Distribution Centre or Main Warehouse
- Assisting in the Production, Warehouse and Administration departments as required
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Able to legally work in Canada
- 19+ years of age or older
- Valid class 5 BC driver’s license (or equivalent)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to use computer software
- Forklift Certification or experience an asset
- Experience driving larger trucks an asset
- Basic mechanical experience an asset
- Physically able to maneuver full kegs and packaged beer
- Detail oriented and organized
- Exceptional customer service skills
This is a full-time position and is approximately 40 hours per week during the business week with one overnight in the Columbia Valley each week.
