Gearhub Sports in Fernie, BC is seeking a Product Listing Associate to accurately list products on our eCommerce website during peak times. This role can be remote or in-house.
PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create engaging and accurate product listings, including descriptions, formatted product images, specifications, shipping modalities and price.
- Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
- Optimize keywords to improve search visibility.
- Ensure product listings meet company standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Conduct audits of product listings to ensure data quality
- Effectively navigate supplier and vendor platforms, and liaise with internal teams to obtain necessary product information and resolve any listing-related issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Amazing attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Work independently, but also be a flexible team player
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs Excel, and Word at a basic level.
- Knowledge of Lightspeed is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ideal candidate will also be knowledgeable about mountain bikes, ski equipment and/or other outdoor activities and gear
