The Elk Valley and Area Hospice Society is recruiting for a contractor to coordinate Hospice
activities in the Elk Valley and surrounding areas. The coordinator must demonstrate excellent
communication skills, adaptability, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
independently, as well work well with others. At present, the role is largely home based and
some of the responsibilities include: society required administrative duties; managing a website
and social media accounts; supporting client referrals through an intake process and volunteer
matching; supporting the society board; fundraising; organizing community education; and
submitting required reports. Additional information is available upon request.
