We are seeking a skilled and reliable Journeyman Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a local professional with hands-on experience in residential and light commercial construction. This role involves a broad range of carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, roofing, siding, and the construction of outdoor structures. Candidates must be able to interpret blueprints and project plans accurately and perform high-quality work that meets all building codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans

• Perform concrete work including forming, pouring, and finishing

• Execute framing, install doors and windows, and perform finishing carpentry tasks

• Complete roofing, siding, and exterior finishing work to a high standard

• Construct decks, fences, pergolas, and other custom outdoor structures

• Work with a variety of materials including wood, metal, and concrete

• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization

• Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with building codes and company standards

• Collaborate with other team members and subcontractors to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a journeyman carpenter (minimum 5 years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of residential and/or light commercial construction

• Ability to read and interpret construction documents

• Skilled in the safe operation of power tools and hand tools

• Understanding of local building codes and safety procedures

• Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
