LWE Builders in Fernie, BC, Canada, is growing and expanding. We are an award-winning builder of custom homes, designing, building, renovating, and remodeling unique and distinctive projects since 1998.

We are looking for an experienced Journeyperson Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and wants to work in a highly professional residential and light commercial environment. Of equal importance, we’re seeking individuals who share our culture of fairness, fun, and opportunity, and who value a safe, respectful, and productive workplace.

Specifically you:

• Are an exceptional Journeyperson Carpenter with high-level finishing skills and well-honed carpentry practices, always aiming to produce an outstanding product.

• Love working with wood, concrete, steel, timbers, and glass, and are motivated by the challenges and rewards of high-performance, custom-home building.

• Work confidently within proven systems and processes while embracing modern building science.

• Exceed WCB safety standards and the BC Building Code.

• Are creative, forward-thinking, solutions-oriented, and enthusiastic.

• Work well with others, have excellent leadership skills, and enjoy managing and being part of a team.

• Possess outstanding time management and organizational skills, including managing your team’s schedule and hours.
