Required experience:
- Similar position: MINIMUM 2-3 years experience in a full service restaurant setting as a prep cook or line cook.
Pay rate depends on experience and commitment.
Responsibilities ;
The prep and line cook at The Bridge Bistro is responsible to prep food for service each day, chopping vegetables, slicing / butchering meat and/ or preparing soups and sauces. You may be asked to check and stock deliveries, as well as regular duties such as dishwashing and cleaning. Your position could also include training newer staff members.
The position includes some heavy lifting, working in a hot environment. It is high paced, and if it is not busy on the line or on the prep side, you will clean/organize and keep busy. We are hoping that you are a team worker with a great work ethic, a positive attitude and have a passion for cooking.
