Responsibilities:

Reading and interpreting blueprints and project plans

Concrete, framing, installing doors and windows, finishing work, roofing, siding and exterior finishes

Constructing decks, fences, and other outdoor structures

Working with various materials such as wood, metal, and concrete

Ensuring work is completed according to code and safety standards

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a journeywoman/journeyman carpenter

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools and materials

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Willingness to train and mentor apprentices in carpentry techniques and best practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
