We’re looking for a passionate, creative Baker who’s excited to get hands-on, roll up their sleeves, and help bring fresh bread and baked treats to life. Job description:

  • Able to follow specific cooking procedures, and baking methods or instructions as set by the Head Chef.
  • Assist in the preparation and production of baked goods, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely execution.
  • Maintain full compliance with food safety and culinary standards, including company policies, food safety plans, and daily operational procedures.
  • Bring creativity and enthusiasm to the role, contributing new ideas and techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, upholding high standards of cleanliness and food safety at all times.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating respect for colleagues, equipment, and the overall kitchen environment.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting, and working in a fast-paced kitchen setting.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Baking and Pastry Diploma (or equivalent experience), with a strong foundation in classic and contemporary baking techniques
  • Valid Food Safe certification
  • Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety standards
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, staying organized and self-motivated while contributing positively to a team environment
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen, maintaining quality, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of fermentation, dough development, and ingredient functionality
  • Excellent multitasking and time management skills
