✨ We are looking an experienced cocktail bartender to join our team for the winter and beyond ✨

Do you know your Negroni from your Boulevardier?
Can you pick out flavours and ensure balance in a drink that’s not to your taste?
Can you keep calm, chat to customers and maintain a vibe when it gets busy and the people/ orders just keep coming?

At Fernie Distillers cocktail bar we are a small town bar doing world class things and we are looking for someone that wants to join that experience with us.

We are looking for:
– An experienced bartender with strong cocktail and spirit knowledge
– An exceptional customer facing attitude knowing (and showcasing) the difference between service & hospitality
– A team player with a can-do attitude; we are a small team who do everything – from shaking and serving, to shaping ice and making syrups – there is no ‘it’s not my job’ mentality
– A quick learner who can make recipes from memory (after a little practice of course)

We need you:
– To have secured accommodation before applying
– Be in town for an in person interview (after screening)
– Hold a valid serving it right cert

This current position will have two set shifts a week, plus an expectation of taking on extra shifts during Xmas weeks and family week and any cover needed.

Continuation into summer with potential for more shifts available for the right fit.
