Job Summary
We are seeking 2 energetic and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to be the welcoming face of our Powder Mountain Lodge. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, provide exceptional customer service, and support office management tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your positive attitude and organizational skills will ensure a smooth flow of daily activities, creating a welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and team members alike. Responsibilities
- welcomes guests in, check-in, check-out, get the payment, dealing with staff complaints. Greet visitors, clients, and vendors warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls to appropriate departments or personnel with excellent phone etiquette
- Handle scheduling and calendar management for appointments, meetings, and events using tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office
- Perform data entry, filing, and record keeping with accuracy and attention to detail, including proofreading documents for errors
- Support office management tasks such as supply inventory, basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software, and maintaining organized workspaces
- Assist with clerical duties including typing correspondence, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and supporting administrative projects
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally via phone or email
Skills
Must know how to use the PMS. Should be a quicker learner. Training will be provided.
Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with office management systems and administrative procedures in a professional setting
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clients and team members effectively
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, proofreading, and calendar management accurately
- Familiarity with office equipment including multi-line phones, fax machines, printers, and basic office technology
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry is a plus. Candidates with prior Property Management System (PMS) knowledge will be highly preferred.
