The Fernie RV Resort is seeking an energetic and reliable individual to join our Cleaning team for the 2026 summer season. This is a seasonal position, however there may be opportunity to continue into a permanent position for the right person.

This position is primarily responsible for cleaning yurt rentals and shared guest washroom & laundry facilities, to a high standard in accordance with Resort procedures.

While this is primarily a cleaning role, you will often be in contact with visitors and guests. As such, candidates must be able to handle concerns and questions in a professional and courteous manner.

Primary Duties include:

• Cleaning and sanitizing yurt rentals following guest checkouts: make beds (fitted sheets and pillows only), vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces, empty garbage and recycling containers
• Cleaning and sanitizing washrooms and laundry facilities using basic cleaning equipment
• Stocking and maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including storage rooms
• Inspect rentals and washroom facilities for maintenance issues and report damages or required repairs
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Other cleaning duties may be assigned

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous experience is an asset but not necessary – training will be provided
• Excellent attention to detail, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work alone and as part of a team
• Reliable, responsible, trustworthy
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods
• Friendly and professional attitude – must be able to interact with Resort guests

The ideal candidate will be available for full-time hours until the end of September, however part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate. Please indicate in your application if you are looking for full or part-time hours.

The tentative schedule would have two ~8 hour days (Tues & Wed) cleaning washroom facilities as a split shift – one morning clean, one late afternoon/evening clean. Days focused on yurt rental housekeeping would be flexible as needed to complete unit turnovers.
