We almost have a full team. We are in need of one more full-time culinary team member. We are looking for an individual that has the availability to work starting in May.

We understand, its the summer. We can do our best to be fair with scheduling and planning for your summer-time goals, but we need to balance the needs of the whole team as well.

Hours are generally 3:30pm-11:30pm, leaving the daytimes open for beach and leisure time.

Schedule will be between 3-5 days a week, depending on overall roster needs and season.

Obviously we are looking for someone with experience and dedication to the culinary arts. However; we are also looking for a positive team player. It also helps if you like having fun.

SKI PASS: Nevados purchases you a seasons ski pass for the upcoming ski season if you average 4+ days a week between June 15 – Sept 15th (with the exception of 7 days off that don’t count). Ski pass is dependent on you working at Nevados through to the end of the ski season. A value of roughly $4/hr of during summer work.

BENEFITS: After orientation period, Nevados has a competitive benefits program that is covered for our culinary team. Roughly $175/month, a value of roughly $1.50/hr of work.

BONUSES: We have big nights at Nevados, when our team hits strong sales targets, the team who worked that day earns bonuses ranging from $50-$125 for that night. Increasing wages to between $30-$40/hr on these nights. Believe me, they earn it. This happens 1-3 times a week during the busy seasons.

TIPS: Culinary team members are tipped out from our FOH at a rate of 8% of total food sales per service. Average tips work out to between$6-$9 extra per hour depending on sales and season.

HOUSING OPPORTUNITY: We have some staff housing coming online in Dec 2026. We will have limited availability for units with competitive rental rates for dedicated long-term culinary team members.

FUN: Ok, we have fun. We work hard! We also have a lot of fun! If you are planning on being a boring stick in the mud, we will hire you only if we are desperate.:)

Salary

base wages at $21-$24/hr depending on kitchen position and skill/effort level. +$8/hr in tips on average during busy season. After initial wage, tips, ski pass, benefit, and bonuses, long term staff average $35+/hr in compensation.
