Fernie Wilderness Adventures is hiring a Lodge Cook for the summer season.

The Lodge Team provides a warm, welcoming experience for overnight fishing guests by preparing and serving breakfast, dinner, and packed lunches.

To be successful in this role, you’ll be comfortable shopping for groceries, preparing and serving breakfast and dinner for guests, and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen. You have strong attention to detail, can work independently as well as part of a team, and enjoy providing excellent guest service. The Lodge Cook reports to the Lodge Manager, who works alongside the team throughout the summer season.

General Responsibilities:

· Prepare and serve breakfast and dinner for lodge guests

· Clean up after meals

· Greeting guests upon arrival

· Cleaning and maintaining lodge kitchen

· Using Google sheets and docs to check business operations and work schedules

Requirements:

· Kitchen experience

· Highly organized

· Drivers license and means of transportation

· Experience in tourism is an asset

· Able to comfortably lift 10 lbs.

Hours:

· 3-5 days per week

· Late July – mid September (flexible start and finish dates)

· August is our busiest month and offers the most hours

Pay:

· $22/hourly -based on experience
