Bower Builders is looking for an experienced, dependable person to become an integral part of our team.

We build a small number of high-end custom homes each year, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly. This isn’t just another labourer position. We’re looking for someone who keeps a site running smoothly and notices the details before anyone has to ask.

We’re hoping to find someone with real life experience—someone who has spent time around construction sites, equipment and trades, and enjoys being the person everyone can count on.

You’ll be the kind of person who can:

• Back a trailer without thinking twice.
• Safely operate a telehandler (or is confident learning ours).
• Grease and maintain equipment.
• Receive and organize deliveries.
• Keep job sites exceptionally clean, organized and safe.
• Coordinate material runs and dump runs.
• Help our carpenters wherever needed.
• Think ahead instead of waiting to be told every next task.

We’d love to meet someone who:

• Shows up on time, every day.
• Has a valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Has experience around construction equipment.
• Is mechanically inclined.
• Communicates well with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Takes ownership of their work.
• Doesn’t mind switching from operating equipment one hour to sweeping floors the next.

We don’t care if you’re a Red Seal carpenter or have thirty years of practical experience. If you’re reliable, capable and take pride in doing quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
